Now for something unusual…
Apple will air a new TV commercial in the US, that began as a student project, according to The New York Times.
18 year old Nick Haley developed the ad and posted it to YouTube. Haley was then contacted by Apple’s ad agency to discuss turning it into a real TV ad!
At first, Haley didn’t believe the call was for real, but soon did, and went to L.A. to work on a broadcast-ready version of his ad.

Apple posted a 1.2.2 iPod update for owners of 5th generation iPods recently, to be downloaded via iTunes. There were no specifics on what exactly has been improved. But it’s likely there were some ‘bug fixes’ on the latest software.
Recommended to upgrade to the latest version of iTunes (7.5) before, or after, applying this update.
